Stupid question I think.

18inch rims come stock on the cobalt ss 06.
So if I buy a aftermarket set of rims, that are 18inchs, it will fit the tires okay, right?

Yes. Just have the measurement of the tire ready when u order ur rims

If you put 18s back on you can use the same 18 " tires you had before.
