I've wondered about suicide doors on the 'balt, too! I wouldn't mind doing that to mine one day.

My old Camaro had suicide doors and it was AWESOME!

 

for me suicide doors work best with sedans......

 

Im going to be putting suicide doors on the back doors with brackets on some custom seats that slide out the door...the subs will be visible when the seats slide out

Thank you! Im getting the car back from the shop today...I finally finished the extierior paint (extented to the back of the car). Now that the exterior is just how I want it I can go to town on the interior....so the doors with the custom seats will be with-in the next few months.

Caivn...I know you're looking to do something different, to make people say "wow, that's different, thats unique, I wonder what else he's got going on?" but in all honesty, as an enthusiast, whenever I see someone with scissor doors or suicide doors, I usually consider them to be one of three things

A. A ricer
B. A kid with to much money from mommy and daddy
C. Both

So, I know a lot of the other guys may have lambo doors, but if you think about the money you could save and put towards a nitrous kit, a new wheel/tire combo, or even custom paint, that would be much better money spent towards making your car stand out. Personally, if I go to a car show and see scissor doors on a car, I just walk right by...but if someone has great paint, a good stance on some killer wheels, and then purges the N2O...that makes me want to come over and see what that person has done.


Now, Camshaft, suicide doors work for you, and I've always liked the look on sedans, it makes it pretty unique in that regard, but thats how suicide doors were originally designed, to work on sedans.


That's just my opinions, do what you'd like.

 

no im not any of the above, i work hard to have my car, 1. i dont like nitro, 2. i have my rims, 3. my paint isnt gonna change till i get my fenders and my bodykit on, and its still gonna be painted rally yellow.
