Question Suicide Doors?

I was looking online and saw that they made hinges for suicide doors on cobalts. I would like some opinions on this, because i think it would be pretty cool to do to my car. thx.

I don't know. I would go lambo before suicide but I think it's a matter of taste. How much and where?

Exactly. It might be cool, but I'd have to see it first to have a real opinion. But remember the first rule of modification: It's your car and all others might as well shut the hell up!

That would be tuff would have to re route all of the electronics in the door and mirror with longer cabling.

Could look cool.. maybe back doors only on a 4 door?

lambo doors would be pretty sweet too, but they are a lot more expensive. it probably would be harder to get in back though. i didnt find any pics of suicide doors on a cobalt. but now that im thinking about it, lambo doors would be even sweeter. thx for your opinions. now for the hardest part, coming up with the money. that should take a while cuz i think lambo doors are like 1G or something. maybe by next summer.

sure slap on some lambo doors...cause nobody else has those yet on any car anywhere. So played out, go to any car show and 75% of the cars have them...

Suicide would be much more unique...a guy on my old club tried it with his Cavy, but it didn't work, ruined the frame, but I have seen pics of some cavys with them...

never seen a lambo door kit that is actually done well. Always, ALWAYS a flaw with the design.

I love suicide doors, but I think the Cobalt Coupe doors are too long and would look a little goofy. I hate Lambo doors.

I want doors that pop directly away from the car then split and slide to the right and left kinda like some minivan doors do. That would look cool and be unique. Unfortunately it is not feasable.

The other option is doors like in the GT50 They kinda slide out then roll forward on an solid axis. that could be smooth and unique too. Course if I had those I would want them powered. And that would eliminate all leg room lol.

Right before I decided to make the smart move, and go Cobalt, I was going to do a gullwing door conversion on my ZX2. Now that would be different. I know they made the kit. I wonder how that would look on a Balt, if there's a kit out there for that?!?!?

Suicide doors could be cool but since the SS/SC trim is 2 door the doors are kinda of long and it might look odd, i think that lambo doors can be cool on cobalts if done right, good luck with ur ride
