just wait until you push the actual button through the headliner hole... that one's always fun.

I just ordered a new cover plate and sunroof switch today at the dealership.
Any body care to start a new game of what the price was.

My dad owns an autobody, he got me the trim piece for the switch for $3 through GM overnight still in the GM packaging. So I hope you didn't pay a ton.

I paid $5.00 for the cover.. Not to bad but the actual switch was the kicker price $30.00.
Next time I am going to the junkyard..

Yeah they are held in place in a retarded way. My advice is take the front of the head liner down and check it out. Its really easy to fix. I got the stupid bezel to stay in place for good but yet to get the button to stay put. It really eerks me.

had that happen twice! first time was my fault, second was my buddy's fault
ended up using a caulk to keep the actual bezel up there whatever works

yep, just a little bit of super glue.. it doesn't exactly seem like a piece exposed to high stresses

I had the same problem. Dealership replaced it, and put the piece of **** assembly back together under warranty.

Happened to me one day when I got out of the car and closed the door The first time I took it to the dealership, they just 'stuck' it back in place Hell, I could have done that. So, I had to reschedule to bring the car back in again, but the second time, I talked to the service manager and he even said the design for the sunroof on the car was a POS The service manager ended up pulling the whole roofing down and redoing the wiring and the clips Solid and haven't had a problem since. Still need to get my driver door re-aligned and re-painted. It's hitting the car frame and slowly chipping the paint
