A girl at my work has an 08 Cobalt LS. She wants to get a sunroof/moonroof installed. Any estimates?

i had to get mine replaced from the dealership (it broke soon after purchasing my car because of some cheap metal pin that they cant order without replacing the whole module.) of course they did it for free considering i just bought the car, if i would have had to pay it would have been like 500 dollars for the whole deal and for your friend to get their roof cut out and all that itd be more than 1500 unless they want a really **** job done. you also have to take into account the fact that the most sunroofs arent water tight just air tight and they have a duct system for water that gets in so it runs down and out of the car under the doors, i would think if it didnt have a sunroof before; something like that would need to be installed to prevent leaking from heavy rain. haha in my opinion. if they have alot of money sure why not... if not.... its probably not worth getting a crappy job done and having problems because of it or them screw up a perfectly good roof.
