so my friend decided to try to climb out my sunroof and i heard a loud crack and thought nothing of it until i couldnt get the trim back in. I stopped and looked and this is what i found.



Can this part be replaced, if so how? Or should i just plasti weld it and get over it, i just would hate the fact that i would know it was cracked.

 

in for ideas. mine is broken to thanks to the dealer...

 

I've had a Balt/g5 for 4 years and didn't even know that part was plastic...

 

i noticed it was broke on mine when i went to pull the rubber trim off to drop the headliner because the sunroof buttons trim fell down. It did it once before that and i took it to the dealer for them to fix it. thats when im guessing the moron put the rubber trim back on then took his hand and pushed it on to make sure it was tight and he broke it i tried to glue it but it just made a mess. mine is broke in that same spot to ill take a pic of it tomorrow.

Does yours leak at all?

 

no water has ever got into the car. if it leaked i would bring it back to the dealer and fight with them to fix it.

$180 for the part and I just pushed the weather stripping over it, just has a dent in it.

 

I'm ordering this part for my sunroof next weekend. Its bothering my knowing its broken lol.
