It definitely would not be accurate... but I heard you can go into the dealer and they can fix it.

NOTHING CHANGES!! the computer sends the signal, the cluster just displays it. as long as you match with the correct year for swap its a plug n play mod. i have it and it works perfectly fine!

i did it, nothing changes, the ECu tells the bastard what to read.

Easy sway, there is a How To from JN2. Takes 30 or less, just remember to disconnect the battery.

on the neons, when u change clusters it doesnt display ur old milage,so if ur car has 46k and u buy a used cluster from another neon, and that one says 15k,it will show 15k,and not 46k

just make sure that...
if you have 2005-2006 you can get a 05 or 06 cluster
2007 must be 2007
and 2008 must be 2008.
im pretty sure on these facts, not 100%
i got lucky with a 2006

yeah someone literally just PM'd me saying i should buy his SS/SC cluster and i did for $60 shipped. glad it was a 2006 cluster, its literally 6 bolts (all the same size) and 2 screws (phillips head). the only tough part is not breaking your interior trim panels and scratching up your plastic stuff and steering wheel, i managed to murder my steering wheel, ******* idiot.....

Yea man, I have part of my dash out right now for painting. Looks easy, just gotta be careful. Gotta get the funds straight right now, I'm doing cheap mods ATM like painting.

Nice mod! But I just would want the redline to show what exactly it is... 6,750 if you don't have a tune.
