Switching center bar/bowtie color combo...

Well i finished the Evo mod and i think it turned out great besides some chipping since. Now i am trying to decided whether to leave it as is, or paint the center bar black and the bowtie red. For ***** and giggles I spent about 15 seconds doing it in paint (lol) but you get the general idea of what it would look like. Opinions?

What about painting the center bar black and leaving the chevy emblem black but with the chrome outlines.

I thought about it but it's a little late. The whole bowtie is already black, as in the first pic. And unfortunately i am going to have to somehow repaint my Evo Mod. Chipping pretty bad where rocks are hitting it..

You can find them on ebay sometimes. I just got a used emblem for like 8 bucks and painted it black and left the chrome trim. I like it.
