Exclamation Tail light project TEASER!

Well i got bored today. And decided to finally start my taillight project. Im turning the trunk lights into another set of working lights. They will come on when the headlights are turned on and they will get brighter when the brakes are engaged and they will also be working blinkers.

One set of LED's on:

Both sets of LED's on:

I had it wired up in my room this was just a quick test.

The wiring to do this is a cinch, IMO the harder part would be getting the LED's to look good.

I have this done on my car, really easy to do, hardest part is dismantling the tails. I only used one LED strip per light, but still have the parking/brake functions. Just takes a bit of wiring.

BTW, the how-to for this already exists here: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/how-guide-43/how-chevy-skyline-tail-lights-87841/ I just wired mine differently then how he did.

Nice, the only thing i don't like with this, is the LEDs won't match the normal taillights colour. Easily fixed if you upgrade to LED outside tails too though!
