thats my tails. there done with VHT then cleared. I'm happy with them. My bf used transparent model paint on his Lincoln LS though. Better quality and cheaper to do.

Depends what stuff you get I guess. The only thing I've found is that I didn't buff it right away and now it doesn't want to buff smooth. I have a feeling come spring it's going to be stripped and redone.

if you are looking for a really good rattle can clear coat then get the DupliColor High Performance Wheel Coating Clear. works amazing and its chemical resistant

Just curious what makes you want to do a G5 rear end over a regular coupe cobalt one?

 

i love the look of the g5 rear end
i like how the truck is clean no lights
i like how the reverse lights are setup
just to be different kinda i know i am not the only one
i wanted a g5 but i hate the grills and yes i know it would be easier to change the front but i just like it i guess
and i got a good deal on my bolt
after i wreck my first one i went back to where i bought it to buy another one
so they helped me out

 

hmm, interesting. i was under the impression anything under an SS cobalt tho had the same rear end as the G5

idk how much darker u want urs preston, we may as well just paint them black lol.

 

nop0pethe cobalt has the 4 tail lights tooand the g5 have just two with the reverse lights on the bumber

nah if i did i would have to find a ss front bumberand side skirts to i might go with some kind of small lip* one day, i like the looks of the factor kinda

 

i want to change out my front and rear bumpers and get the side skirts off a GT.
