You can either buy the cheap "looking" tint overlay off of ebay. That I heard doesn't even fit right.

Or you can do it the preferred way (what I did) is paint them using "VHT Nightshades".

If you choose this way. All you need is sandpaper, VHT, and a can of clear gloss. THere is a couple of how to's on going on doing this.

Agreed! VHT NightShade is the best way to go the overlays are crap, and spray tint is easier. Just make sure you buy the sand paper you need. you can use duplicolor gloss, or any other. you can find gloss at autozone,wal-mart, etc..

Dang mr lazy. It's called the search button.

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...nt+tail+lights

If you choose to wet sand it, then you might want to get a fine fine grit sandpaper. like 4k I believe. If you can't find at a store, try a body shop.

To get a can of VHT, you can either get it from Modernperformance.com (VENDOR) or EBAY

If you're tinting one set of tail's, then all you need is not even one can.

You can still use niteshades with sedan tails. Follow the how-to the same way.
