i like the chrome on my headlights. i just wanna know since the black housing is most voted, if it will look stupid if i keep the chrome headlights and get the black housing tail lights. or should i just get the chrome ones to match my chrome headlights

 

why do you insist on matching them? there are plenty of cars that have different housings for the heads and tails

 

really? i just wanna make sure cause i don't wanna have a stupid looking car. and i don't want ppl to think it looks stupid cause it's not matched.

two, its your car do what you like
three, IMO, i think the black would look good on your car
four, yes really...lexus is300, had chrome headlamps and chrome altezza's, but optional smoked tail surrounds. older maxima's had chrome tails and smoked heads. or chrome heads and blacked out tails(SE models) altima SER had smoked heads, but blacked out tails. i could go on for hours.

why care what other ppl have to say? its your car, you pay for it, you drive it. do what you want to it.

 

Good thing to do is to not start a thread on every new mod on your car. People can't bash what they don't see.

My vote is #2, chrome. Because chrome is the best, when done right! With your grills, headlights, and highpolish wheels, the chrome tails will fit right in. Anything more though, might be overboard.

 

I picked 3 because i like the fact that they are red and look stock. but still would hae the LED's

 

none of the above, they are fkn ugly has s***

spend your money on having the originals tinted instead

tinting your tail light will give it more class, than those ugly tail lights

it will look stupid, so black out your headlights to match. Lose all the damn chrome. blurple and chrome don't go together, come to think of it, nothing really goes with blurple...hmm

i think there may be a how to around here somewhere. basically take them apart and put led's in. i'll see if i can find one of the threads.
his car is not the blurple color...at least by the pics it doesnt look like it.

here i found onehttps://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...ne+tail+lights thats for a coupe but you could do something to that extent. you could probably create your own pattern with individual led's. i think that would be pretty cool if you could make it look right. you could also get led bulbs like these http://www.cobalt-addiction.com/exterior.htm click lighting and scroll down some and you'll see them. i dont know if those go in a 4 door or not though. just givin ya ideas man
