After you do a light inital sanding to get them prepped, tape off just the reverse lights. You good tape and a razor blade to cut the circle out. Thats how I did mine. i was just very careful. Then after you spray all your tint on and your ready to clear, remove the tape to clear the whole housing. Remember alot of light coats is better then 2 heavy coats.

Just Tint the whole taillight, IMO it looks alot better and you dont have to worry about tape messing up your tint job. My sedans taillights are completely black and the reverse lights are still very noticeable when backing out and such.

you just tape off the reverse light with painter tape. If you are smoking your lights you will be able to still see when backing up but if you going full black I would taped them off.
p.s. don't forget you need 600 grit sandpaper.
