TC lower grille install

can you install this without the retaining clips? Bought top and bottom from a member here but there were no clips for it and there 3 dollars a peice at CED. So was wondering if any others had theirs isntalled without them or with something else?

I said I didn't think the clips were worth the money. Not paying 3 dollars a piece + shipping for them.

If you don't buy the clips, your grille is not properly secured.

If you go to car washes or go on a highway with some winds, you risk it.

Just buy the clips and don't cheap out on ANY ASPECT of your car.

+tax and shipping will average bout 3 dollars. Im not saying im want to be cheap about it, but you know its not worth that much for the clips. You wouldn't pay 5 dollars for a snack size snickers just because thats all thats in the store at the moment would you. There is a difference between cheap and just not being dumb.

nah im not going to sell it. I got the top and bottom, it just didn't come with the clips for the bottom. Ill throw the lower out if I can't install it. Got it mainly for the upper, lower was just a bonus.

its not dumb when ill maybe get 40 for it and I have to go and try and find a box to fit it, then have it sit for a couple weeks taking up space. Same thing happened with my exhaust. Just threw it out, I dont find it worth that little to be worth trying to sell.

Finding a box for a lower grille shouldn't be hard. Finding a box for a full body kit, yes, I'll agree.. But for a lip, nah..

you can still put the lower grille on, you just risk it. It fits well. But not tight to where it's secure. It's good for daily driving. But don't quote me on that;
