I've been thinking about doing this for a while. I think it would be possible with a G5 coupe trunklid. For the reverse light I was going to either get a clear third brake light(red bulbs on the outer two and white in the middle) or just put a reverse light on the liscense plate area

It's a fake I made on my computer. I thought it was better than a black rectangle.

 

its not like it matters.... hell i see thousands of license plates every day. its not like i can steal their credit card info from their plates

but back on subject, i think it looks kinda wierd. i'd have to see it in person. i kinda like the dual lights in the rear.

heres my actual car..i shaved everything and i love it...i put a 97 blazer LED third brake light in my back window and its currently in the body shop right now getting two toned black and silver... just my 2 cents though....

just convert the rear end to a sedan rear. bumper and tails. but i do like the black wingless one.

to the OP, If I were you, I would leave the reverse lights off, and then just figure something out for inspection time. Maybe put them on your license plate, but make them removable and hide the wiring behind the plate. I don't think you would EVER get caught for it, but you would have to be careful when backing up, especially at night time.

CAN THE G5 coupe trunk bolt right onto the Cobalt SS 2 door? I don't care about back up lights mine don't work anyways! Just Answer if it will directly bolt up? or if the 4 door cobalt trunk will bolt on?
