has anyone ever got pulled over for blue fogs? and are u even aloud to have them?

 

i know in cali u cant have blue or red

 

look up your local vehicle codes

 

you can't have any cerry an berry color lights on your car. "cop colors" if there like the blueish tint like of an hid you'll prob be ok but, if there straight up blue. Be perpared to get pulled over.

12k would be more purpleish, in the fogs....it's really depends how tight the cops are in your area.

 

Don't get them...All the other drivers will hate you.

 

 

Not going to lie, I hate having the HID's right in my face. I know they're lows but still.

i got 20000k headlights and 20000k fogs lights .... they are dark blue and i got a ticket 1 time....but other times i got pulled over they say u cant have blue lights and let me go... plus i rather have hids on because mad people be driving with their brights all the time,so **** them...also the best is when i used 2 work as a mechanic people used 2 come in and have their high beams on and say well i didnt wanna get a ticket for a light out so i drive with my brights on.... and their is so many people who do that

no there are a good amount of different color temps. My high beams on my projectors are 30,000 which are pink. haha

 

It really will depend on the cop. You will get lots of attention for them and they will be looking for excuses to pull you over and then if they are in a bad mood, will tag the extra fine on... kinda like tint.

Most places have pretty strict rules about have "cop colors" aka blue and red on the front of your vehicle. Just the same as there are rules against have white lights on the back of your car (unless you are actually going in reverse of course)

I would say it is not a risk worth taking.

 

i would say it is as long as you dont go above 8000k you should be fine since its just a shade of blue not a deep blue like cop colors.
