The arm rest is annoying with the hand brake... I think. Lots of members have them in their ss's. Order from CED tho

I think it says that because they think it could possibly get in the way of shifting. Lots of people have them in their ss without issue.

It doesn't get in the way of shifting at all. The only thing it kinda gets in the way of is the e-brake, but even that isn't an issue. I leave the armrest in the "normal/down" position in the track and while doing pulls, doesn't get in the way then. It's just GM being silly and not including something in a $24k car, but they put it in the base car. Wtf.

Just order it and thank me later

On the HHR SS the passenger side seat in the 5 speed has the holes and stuff for the arm rest to be installed from the factory, all you have to do is buy 1 armrest and the hardware to install it.

I don't know if the Cobalt SS/TC does though, also I found out that the Cobalt SS/TC doesn't have power seats from the factory at our last meet?

The HHR SS seats do (if anyone ever wanted to upgrade I'm sure the power connector is there some where). Find you a passenger side HHR SS with your interior

The arm rest is retractable on the seats.

This isn't rocket science

You either want to have an armrest or you don't ?

Will look like every non SS Cobalt or any SS that has added one

Should have come from the factory. Fits fine. Might rub the seat (mine does). Does NO damage if you leave the damn thing down like it should be. Never gets in the way of shifting.

Funny - every time I go to my house in Florida, I always rent either one of three Cobalt Sedan SS [Avis] they have, but the funny part is that color interior is the same one in all three..
