Is there a best way to apply SS overlay decals??

I just got some SS overlay decals from Ebay for like 5 bucks and lost the instruction sheet it came with... I remember it saying something about applying them with windex or something along the same lines so that you can properly set it in place.

I know a lot of you have these decals... how did you put them on?

Windex?!!!!! That's a cleaning agent, what do you think it's gonna do to the adhesive? Just do the dry method carefully.

well, i dunno, you would use the same method with windex for tinting windows.

try a little windex on a corner of one of the decals, let it sit and see what happens to the adhesive, if it is no longer sticky, put it on the emblem dry, and just spray a clear acrylic over it to keep it protected, and to hold down the part that won't stick.

The proper wet method is too use water with soap in a spray bottle.
It works really well but with those being so small I would do it dry.
Just take your time.
