So a lil whiles ago(maybe like... 2 weeks..?) I decided against wrapping my interior trim with CF vinyl and I wanted to check out how a black balt would look with a cf "kia Forte mod"

The result --->

It looks aight.. a full CF lip(a real one ) would look pretty nice and would go well with my unpainted rear lip I'll praly get to that on Monday actually...

anyways tho, I took my grill off when I put the vinyl on, and I got tired of the jacked up looking Intercooler and buck teeth so I put it back on a lil while ago... Thought I'd share

and for anybody thats never took the grill off or put one on.. The hardest part was gettin it lined up and even.. and I did that while talkin on the phone, eaten a slice of pizza, an smoking a cir.. Jus saying...



Oh, and if anybody wants a SS/TC lower Grille, lemme know, I can live without it. I'll jus shave those.. Teeth off lol

To give it a pro look run a thin black pin stripe ontop of the paint and carbons edge, believe me it will look great!

Tonights for ze drinkin ) Ima have all my "threads" goin in the same direction, right now they're opposite.. and i know you cant really tell unless you're about to get run over by my car and you just happen to notice that with your last breath before you get smushed to **** by my bald ass tires but.......

other tips?
Heat is your best friend, not too hot like a heat gun,a hair dryer works better and constant creasing around the bow tie, for example mold the vinyl around the edges with heat, then score the border over and over with a sharpened popsicle stick (not to a razor tip edge but a rounded edge) then once you created the crease then go ahead and trim it with a very very sharp blade, exacto etc

 

yea i used a blowdryer with both of em, the lil inner corners were a bitch to get to stick

I wanna wrap the whole lower lip in cf, but I think it'll be easier(definitely) an more cost effective to jus buy one..

 

its a shame you didn't get the "grain" in the carbon fiber to go in the same direction....
