Tint
Mine's at around 5% all around sept for the windshield wich is done at 30% with a reflective tint. It's not actually reflective it's grey or something like that... I dunno... high end stuff that looks different. I LOVE it. It's OMG illegal but I've had it since august with no problem. If you were to go this route, Just don't drive like a dick and if you do get pulled over even if its for something stupid like a ride check have your window down BEFORE they get to you. Yes, they will have seen it already, but it's respect to the cop to have it down and your car shut off anyways. Shows you have absolutely nothing to hide.
Mine was at 35% all around minus the windshield (which hadn't been done yet) and it did look good. I got mine done so dark as I was driving ON - NH every other weekend and was having problems with truckers on the interstate. Lone female on an interstate and ignorant truckers = not a good time. This tint COMPLETELY eliminated that.
I've been pulled over once (not for tint)
Had 2 OPP cruisers approach me (just to see what we were doing... we were taking pics on a scenic road)
Had 2 OPP cruisers pull in on either side of me in a parking lot
Was at an accident scene that a family member was part of
Been through 2 ride checks
and none of these times has cops said anything to me.... maybe its just luck? Now I DO NOT drive through high school zones during school hours with it and I am dreading the day I get stuck in a safety check and don't see it to the last moment. I have been pulled over in ON with my bf's lincoln which has 20% all around but the car was registered in New Hampshire so there was **** all he could do about it and he even admitted it. I think he was just bored and wanted to check the sexy car out
That was in a high school zone so it may have been that the car looks like a drug car to in those scenarios haha

My .02...go to an established tinting company. One that has been in business for a few years or more at the same location. Chances are they are still in business because they do a good job. Let them tell you what the legal limits are -- most will even put a sticker inside your door to verify the tint is legal -- you show that to the police if they question your window tint. Get the life-time warranted tint too -- might be a little more $...you get what you pay for.
OP, if you're willing to drive I got mine done at Barracks Auto Accessories in Charleston. They have been doing the same thing for like 60 years and they are damn good at it. I payed $168 for 20% all around.
You're not playing it safe then...WV allows 35%, not 30%
.
Again, best to check with a reputable tint company -- you have to remember that the windows already have some tint (around 2%) and that can affect what you put on your car. Of course, it won't matter if you don't get pulled over and checked by the law...
