has anyone had thier cobalt tinted and how much it cost you..and what tint i can get away with without having popo problems

No, no one has ever had their cobalt tinted.. =P

Depends on what shop you go to, prices range. I payed 180 for everything including a brow. Cops and attitudes towards tint also vary from state to state. I have 5% in MO and I have never had problems in any of my cars for 6+ years.

 

ya i saw that sticky but i know indiana's state law isn't 30% like it says..its more like 20% or 15%..so idk if thats old or what

 

mine are 7% all around. the legal amount in most states is 35% front windows (or none at all, ie MI) and any on the rear. it cost about 150$ for me, and i have a coupe not a sedan.

 

ya i just made an appointment for monday..for 5%all around it cost 159$..but im worried that ill get pulled ovr

 

who cares? they'll either cite you to get it taken off, or you'll get a 90$ ticket. not a big deal lol

 

mines cost me about 200 with "life time warranty" for 20% all around. NY sucks with tint but KY is cool

 

oh so your saying that if i get a ticket my option is either 90$ or to take it off..cuz i got pulled over for factory tint before..keep in mind the cop was an ass because i called him a ******..and the ticket was 120%

Everyone has different experiences with cops. Myself, I have been pulled over about 8-10 times with 2 cars 5% all the way around (minus windshield.) I got a ticket every single time but one. After paying over $1000 to the Ann Arbor and East Lansing Police Dept. I took them off. This was over a 6 year period though.

Planning on going 35% all the way around on my Cobalt soon.

My Dad has a script for 15% tint (has 20% to match factory) and he has had them on his SS Silverado for almost 5 years. Never been stopped once.
