Well i drive a black cobalt ss s/c and was wantin to know how much it is going to cost for tint on sides and back. I live in tx and laws say that i can have any % on the back and 25% on the sides. I was looking at some ss's that have 5% or limo tint and was wanting to know if i will get pulled over with it on? also is 5% to dark to see out of?

 

5% is very dark and hard to see out of. for all of your windows i would say be ready to spend anywhere between 145-180, depending on where you go. and depending on how strict your cops are you could get pulled over, it all depends on where you live.

 

5% On the sides i think are to dark. I have 5% on the back 3 and 20% on the sides. And at night no 1 can see in

 

Yeah roughly 150 to 175 and get 5% on back and 20-30 oon the sides

 

well i got my tint for 120$ I got 5% in the back and side windows and 35% in the front ones and I live in Texas and yes what I have is legal. The cops down here dont really care unless they pull you over for speeding or something else and also if there dick. I have a couple of friends that have very dark tint in the front and have never been pulled over.

 

I paid $150 for mine, but I went with 18%. It's still darker than crap, but at night it's MUCH easier to see out of. I have pics in my gallery if you want to look at them.

 

5% will get you a ticket, but it does look good. That is what I have and I've been running it for about 2 years now and just got my first tint ticket

Well it depends on where you live some places just make you take the tint off but here in Mass its up to $250 ticket AND you have to remove your tint

 

Mine was $120 for 20% on the sides, back, and a strip across the windshield. Prices vary a great deal though.

 

i have 12 % and have gotten 2 tickets. i paid 140 plus an extra 20 for the sun strip.

 

$200 for 20% all around and no tickets so far had them on for about a year

 

I have double limo all around and 35% on the front windshield.... cant see **** at night lol but it looks good in day light lol well nobody can see on da inside lol and my bro had da same n he got a 170$ ticket no fix it lol i had it for a yr now n also on my mustang had da same but no tickets for me yet!!!

they give percentage numbers for a reason, use them or dont say anything at all.

anything darker then 30-35% is really to hard to see out of at night...

 

In the city not so much, but if you live in the middle of no where.... i wouldn't try it.

 

If u dont know wat limo is u probably shouldnt even be reading a thread about tint bud!!
