they claim that whent he windows are tinted they cant see who is in the car so when the approach there is a chance you are holding a weapon, this is where it all derived from

*Pa system* "Have your window down before i get to the car". Problem solved. Or how bout this, my passenger in the backseat (you can tint the back windows as dark as you want here) could be pointing a gun and shoot your ass when you walk past their window. Window tint laws are bullshit. My dad got pulled over in my old car (it only had 35% front and 20% rears) and the dick head trooper did a U-turn in heavy traffic chased my dad down and did it all for window tint. What a *****. His ticket was like $63 or some b.s. like that.

im not defending it at all. Im just telling you what I know. I have tinted windows and if i get a ticket ill just pay and keep em tinted. for the 7 years i drove in pa i had tinted windows and got pulled over a few times. Im just stating what I know. What I do know is my wife will be a doctor as of May 2nd and I can get myself a nice like note that says I need the tint on my windows for my "sensitive eye". then i will never be ticket again

thast a lot of luck. although pittsburgh cops in most cases have better things to do. I was only ever pulled over by staties and i lived in pittsburgh for 6 of the 7 years i was driving with tint

I was stopped in Ohio (live in Indiana), for my window tint. Cop told me to "just leave the windows down until I get out of Ohio". I told him "I'm from Indiana, your tint laws do not apply to me." He told me to "have a nice day". I went on my way.

My eye doctor offered to do that for me when i got my concussion in football. Im thinking about going back and taking her up on that offer. Esp since my eyes have been bothering me lately.

I just roll my windows down if I pass a cop that I think might look at me.

I'd most def have 'em down if I got pulled over anyway.

Gotta love this one... one of our club members got a tint ticket over the weekend... and his tint is legal 35% NC state limit... even had the reciept in his dash... but Johnny Law didn't want to hear it... didn't even bother measuring the tint or anything... just bam... $250 ticket.

Yeah, I'd fight that one. And then make the cop go back to the Academy to learn some ****.

That should have been fought in court, the cop had no legal right/reason to pull him over.
