tint on the top part of the back window?
mine doesnt. but the guy doing the tint had to spend extra time on the dot matrix in the back window to make it look right.. most places wont do it, so the back window comes out looking like ****.. some people will tell you, you cant tint that part of the window at all..
Yeah, mine looks funny from the outside, but inside its fine. You have to spend a lot of time heating it and pressing it down between every dot to get a nice uniform look, which no-one wants to do. I have seen people just stop the tint below the dots, which looks much worse to me. I don't mind.
Most places won't do it because the tint has a tendency not to stick to the dots. However, the window tint that me and my shop use puts a piece of black vinyl on the inside of the car to mesh in with the tint. It looks like it is tinted and it sticks to the dots.
Weak.
Gotta tint all of em.
Yeah, you can't see anythign useful out of the top of the window anyway. Usually you are only looking from about where the spoiler is down.

from the outside

from the inside
you can vinyl on the inside, it's not like you will see the dots anyway
the whole point of the vinyl is to cover the dots so there isn't a gap between the tint and the dot matrix
i don't think I've seen vinyl on the outside of a window, it looks cheap, and you have to be careful in winter time when you scrape ice off
