Tinted eyelids

I have searched far and wide and I dont think anyone has done this so I am going to try it and I want to know what everyone thinks. Instead of color matching my eyelids and being stingy on how much light I want to lose I was thinking about using VHT Niteshades for this. Ok I am sure someone has tinted their headlights before but this is where my idea is different. I havent seen any eyelids that go truly from corner to corner on the lense. I am assuming because you are seriously blocking over 50% of the light coming out. With that said I think I am going to do corner to corner and use the tint so that at night you still get at least some light transmission. What do you think?
