Tinting

Hey guys i am determining if i should get my car tinted. Is there any disadvantages of tinting. The place i am going to go to uses formula 1 tinting and has a life time guarante. My car is a 2007 Black SS/SC and the tint i would get would be the legal limit in Ontario which is 35%. Does any one have any pictures of their cars tinited or any info for me

Thanks alot guys

shouldnt be disadvantages. 35 is a good number cuz u still are able to see very clearly and it has a nice look on the outside too. i would get it done. in canada do all the windows have to be thta or just the driver and passenger

mines 15% and i want to go darker... 15% is what i would go for personally... 30% is not to dark. and our law here is 35% also... and i have not had any problems, and i've had 15% on all my cars.

tinting changes the look of the car dramatically....i had 15 on my driver and passenger side and 5's in the back of my last car (ion). i loved it and would do it again. but if u want to abide by the law 35 is def gonna make a difference too!

that looks sick lucky... I have 20% and wish it was darker. the law in RI and NY (where i live, where my car is registered) is 70% aka stock windows. but I haven't had a problem yet.

I'm in Alberta - While its illegal to have the front windows tinted I have 35% on the front 2 and 5% (limo) on the back 3....

Personal opinion - I think I prolly would have gone 20% on the front makes a big difference in the look but the back looks very good... Backing up in a dark alley can be a bit taxing but I've had no problems with visability while driving at night or day...

Here are some pics of my car...

They have a third brake light decal as well that you can get COBALT or COBALT SS cut out of it.

I have the same tint + 5% strip on the windshield. Backing at night is a PITA. With 35% you'll be fine.
