Hey I know of one thing that might work for you...

I sell at my store (countdown hobbies) window tint spray...

A few people I know have used it on headlights and it works so I dont see why it wouldnt work on tail lights...

now actually i know how to do the headlight, not necessarily tenting them, but painting the inside of them (which looks good...see sema 272 cobalt's headlights)its common practice to do this on rsx's and looks great. a easy do it yourself mod thats cheap as well.

just a little knowledge and experience I have on painted reflectors in light fixtures...... Chrom is the best reflector you get near 98% efficency, white gets near 85% eff. and gray get near 55% eff. I would highly suggest against painting the reflector

no, you dont paint the reflectors around the bulb...you do that like they did in the pics...you leave that part...but you paint the outlying areas...if i werent so busy id find a picture that would help show you this...

OK...no offence to anyone on this forum...this is strictly my opinion. There are two trends that I noticed are coming back from the late 80's, early 90's...that I not really impressed with too much. Tinting back lights and black rims on black cars. I did this on very first car. Looked good at that time but not worth the safety issue. The lights were barely visible at night, let along during the day. Very dangerous IMO.

Black rims on black cars...I'm sure this is just a fad that will pass...and I'm hoping very quickly. Fellas...everyone knows that black makes things appear smaller. So an 18" black rim looks like a 16" when mounted on an already black car...regardless if the lip is polished or not. Gun metal looks good but not BLACK. So IMO, clear out the tail lights and black out the chrome if you want like SilverSS did on the front lamps. That looks SICK!!
