Well, I looked up my paint code as 17u. It says either silver ice metallic or switchblade silver. The previous owner gave me some gm touch up paint for that car. On the bottle it said 17u and switchblade. Anyways, I used it a bit on a scratch and noticed it seemed to be a bit darker. I went to the store to see the other touch up paints and did find a silver metallic or ultra silver. What I want to know is their 2 different colors for 17u? Switchblade seems way to dark.

 

Because it's new paint. After it dries polish it and then wax it. Should blend a little. That's why painters have to match and blend, even with the right paint.
