Pull the carpet back. Three bolts off each outer taillight and three to put back on. The inner taillights are easy too. Pull the black plastic off and unscrew the two screw nuts. Um you might need new screw nuts for the new taillights that go on the trunk. Might be a different size.
Yeah i bougth mine off ebay to your must take out the light bulb put the light housing in first then put the light bulb plug in. I know it sounds odd but that is how i had to do mine. Plus i noticed that one of the little prongs is not wide enough they will fit just takes some time
is the carpet on on the trunk? mine shoul dbe coming in tomorrow i also have a pair of halo projectors with black housing and 10000k HID ( anyone know it they are legal) do u recommend i get thos einstalled professionally

I'm still waiting on my tails, so I haven't changed mine yet. But I changed my headlights, and it was pretty easy. Should be the same for tails. Un screw, unplug, jiggle it out, jiggle new tail in, plug in, re screw, and your good to go!
i customized the tails in my Alero when i was 15 - and im a chick. If i can do basic r&r work, even when i was 15, then so can you!!!
You always learn more when you do it yourself, or at least have a hand in it. I've gotten so much better at my handiwork over the years just by trying it on my own!
