I've never needed to tow my car once in the 4 years/78k miles even after an accident recently... That's why to me, tow hooks are silly. Good day.

tow hooks for daily drivers arent silly and some road course and drag tracks require them so your the silly one :P

Think of it this way.. if your car is low as hell and you need to go on a flat bed your chances of your bumper getting messed up when he hooks you are very high... with a towhook he grabs right there and bumper is in one piece... also if you race its mandatory...
