ive been looking around here for about thirty minutes now with no success. i have an 07 ss/sc with the high rise spoiler and i want to trade for a low rise or no spoiler trunk. its silver and debadged except for the sc badge. im just tired of this damn spoiler. im located in charleston sc.

Everyone is. I just welded the holes myself and repainted the whole trunk.

Well for the rest of us like me that actually don't own a shop would cost me around 275-344 depending on where to go.

weld the holes, and pay a shop 100 to paint it, like i did, and thats for red paint, which is more expensive then silver

 

I want to go wingless to dammit lol maybe in a couple months

 

I don't know about the OP but the second shop that I called would charge $200 for painting it.

My local shop quoted me $344 to fill the holes & paint.

That in my opinion=raping

 

I have a low rise black trunk. If anyone would like to trade for a High wing model. Im in Gville SC. 06 SS/NA

 

Unless you have a FULL shop this is a very expensive job. Most people can mig weld the holes and throw some filler on. Not everyone has a professional spray booth, Sata guns, etc.

Look into filling the holes yourself. Very easy to do if you have general knowledge for body repairs.

$200 for everything is a decent price. Again Red is about double the price of any other color.
