Trunk gap is uneven

I know this is a particular thing, but the gap between my trunk door and the two body pieces on either side aren't the same. The left side is wider. Is there any way to fix this?

I could post pictures if needed

uneven body panels are a standard feature.

Haha... seriously though... Im gonna need those pictures on my desk by Monday along with those TPS report. Lol

Dont trunks have things that are the same as bump stops on the poles, though? Kind of like with the hoods, only on that rod?

Mine does the same thing. I haven't bothered to trouble shoot it because it doens't bother me enough. But I don't think it's the deck lid. I think its the rear facia actually.

Loosen the nuts that hold the lid to the brackets, then hand tighten them (no tools, bare hands) the best you can. Close and latch the lid fully. Use popsicle sticks to play with the spacing. When you get it, open the trunk and tighten the nuts fully.

Here's a few pictures.. there's more in my profile.

It's hardly noticeable in the pictures, but when you're looking at it and admiring it, it's really noticeable. It's dusty right now since I live on 3 miles of gravel (*cry*), but I'm washing and power shining it tomorrow at work.

Thanks for the fast replies, I would have but I worked all day.
