trunk lid spoiler removal

just wondering whats holding the spoiler onto the car once the 4 bolts are removed?

is it the same stuff that they use for the emblems? that adhesive black sticky stuff?

whats the best way to remove the spoiler?

yep, it's double sided tape. get some sticky stuff remover, i got it for like 5 bux from the local supermarket, it's in an aerosol can, and i have yet to come across someting that it wouldn't take right off. when i started the emblems before i had it, took FORVER. after a while, i stopped even using the heat and fishing line, just peeled the emblems off, sprayed some sticky stuff remover, let it sit, and wipe clean. it won't hurt the paint, but make sure you wipe off any access as it drips off of the tape (which it will)

i did mine today..fishing line..floss...blow dryer...lol and got tired of trying got frustrated had a burst of anger and rips it off lmao. spoiler is fine..off now..the holes lip up now from the glue holding on so damn tight..better to take time with fishing line and a blow dryer..took me 20 min lol should take an hour im guessing if done the right way.
