Try THESE Headlight Bulbs...

I have heard a lot of folks on here complain about stock and aftermarket headlight bulbs, the color, the brightness (or lack of) and the the short life span. I have tried MANY different brands from Hella, PIAA, Silverstar and Silverstar Ultra to the e-Bay brands (whatever they are) and all in between.
Below I will post a link to a company I have dealt with since 2003 and have been EXTREMELY satisfied. Everybody will have different wants/needs and expectations and tastes of what they expect in headlight bulbs.
I personally like the crisp, ultra white light that is about as close to factory HID's in color as I have seen without the rediculous blue light or so dim you cant see 50 feet in front of you. I prefer standard factory wattage as not to risk my wiring and sockets. When you click the link below, I have used the second set from the top, described as "Xenon Headlight Bulbs - Standard Watt." I have been VERY pleased with these. A FAIR price and great service from this company AND from the bulb itself. Remember, anyone can get a defect, but I have had these in numerous cars of mine, some in my GMC since 2003 without a problem or replacement. I bought an extra when I originally purchased them as a "spare, just in case". I still have that spare, still in the original shipping box!
As with all these bulbs, I have found the best thing to do before installation is wipe the bulb glass off with a clean lint-free cloth and rubbing alcohol to remove any and all grease or body oils from inadvertant handling. As you can see, they have other offerings in the head light bulb line (and MANY other items elsewhere on their site) you may like better and I can't speak for them as I have never tried them. But I think you all would be very happy with their products.

Just ordered the 9007 for the Cobalt. Will take some pics of the same bulbs in my GMC Sierra. Nevermind the pollen. It's terrible here. Usually things are spotless! Will try to post tonite.

OK... Here are some different pics of these same bulbs in my GMC Sierra. Cloudy and raining, so I couldn't spend a lot of time taking them. They look a lot better in person than these pics. For the money, (less than $25) and the installation ease (15 mins.) they look very good. The bluish tint when off looks good too! You may see a little brown tint at the top of the "Nite" pictures. This is not from the bulb, but from the gray/brown acrylic bug delflector on the hood just above the lights.

Granted they are NOT projectors, but you don't have the initial cost, inoperative "Halos", non-functioning LEDs, extra wires and fogging capsules. Just put this out there to help anyone look. Any questions??,, Give me a shout.

it's a bulb. thats it.

pull out old bulb, replace with new one, continue on with your day. shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to do.
