TWM Short Throw Shifter HELP!
TWM Short Throw Shifter HELP!
Ok.. so long story but im looking to buy a TWM short throw shifter. im extremely confused on how they make the selections for what type of knobs you want and ****. there are no pictures or anything its retarded. but anyways. for the reason im writing this.
What is the difference between all of the choices in metals? the shifter knob type. ok i get that and im good with the abrams. but as far as the metal goes. i have no idea what makes another better and what makes one worse or how i should even go about choosing. so im wondering if anybody knows what the better shift knobs are and basically why would i wanna spend an extra 80 dollars on, say a gun metal shift knob when i could get the aluminum one for free...
please help guys.
thank you

You can view the complete shift knob selection at the following link:

As far as material goes, if you get the aluminum version it's lighter than the sainless version. The stainless shift knobs are heavier, therefore will provide a smoother shifting. For the finishes, it's simply a matter of personnal preference depending on what color you like best for the interior of your car.
Hope this helps!

ok.. thank you very much guys. that is very helpful. i figured it would be something along those lines but i just wanted to make sure. very helpful. looks like im going twm =] and i think itll be worth the 80 dollars or so to have a smoother and better feel shift.
The stainless version is definitely worth the extra money! I personally use a M1 Abrams RL shift knob white finish in my 09 SS/TC and the feeling is just perfect.
