Two tone paint-job (help)
Two tone paint-job (help)
Alright so I go to Baran Institute in East Windsor, CT. I am currently going to school for autobody and the custom plus program. In about 4 months I will be starting the paint aspect of autobody and we are allowed to paint our cars and I want to paint my car. I want to paint the top half black or a dark gun-metal and keep the bottom half my original blue. I want to split the colors on the body line but I have no clue what it would look like. Can someone help me either with photoshop, show me other pictures of two-tone sedans or give me any ideas or clues. here is a picture of my car.

I would greatly appreciate any help

My friend Mike went to Baran and he got a job in a small autobody shop about a year ago. He wants to two tone his Monte. Must be something about Baran, everyone two-toning and all.
As far as the lines to follow for the sedan, it shouldn't be much different than the lines for the coupe.

It's cool, thanks for the nice comment though. I plan on lowering it and tinting it come spring time.

yeah the silver stripe deffinetly helps the black and blue seperate nicely. i think i will be doing this when i paint the car. i just want to see what it looks like before i make up my mind totally. even if i just saw a two tone sedan in any color.
Thanks, I can't wait to do something major to my own car and say that I acutally did it. I also plan on removing the side molding, shaving the antenna, shaving the trunk key hole, removing the front bowtie and mounting it to the driver side of the grille. these have been ideas of mine for a while so i will go from just looking like a regular old sedan with rims to a clean looking car. I can't wait. If anyone has any more suggestions please let me know.
sorry about the mix up i must not have caught that when i was skimming threw the post. Well here is a quick chop of it. I left the windows tinted out cuz without it, it looked a little goofy. Hope this helps
