ive been tinkering with the idea of two-toning my car and this is what i came up with. comments are welcome. i plan on getting either the rksport hood or the ss hood (both in carbon fiber) and paintin them black. also painting the roof black. in addition, id like to get the carbon fiber wing insert and leaving the towers red. now i dunno if i wanna get a carbon fiber trunk or just paint it black following the body line across the trunk. please comment, negative and positive welcome...

or there's the idea of going all out and getting a whole new paintjob but it'll be expensive...(sorry for stealin this pic from some1, but i loved ur car)...and id get carbon fiber hood and wing

There is a local guy I met up with at the meet yesterday who is actually getting this paintjob done to his SOM coupe. Listerman is the name. He actually has a post just like this with that same p.s. done to his car. I can't wait to see it.

as far as rims go...i want a nice black rim with a chrome lip. paul, u liking the idea of it? i cant wait to get it done but its going to be small process at a time. first paint then carbon sh*t. as far as atco goes....sunday, sept 17th...i wanna leave the island round 7:30 so we should meet up at a spot and go from there

yah a lot of people are going this route. someone keyed my SOM balt so i had the option to two tone it instead of having them attempt a color match. it goes in tomorrow morning to the paint booth and i should have it back the middle of the next week. pretty much the same thing your doing except sunburst orange metallic on bottom and probably vivid black on top.

I like 2 tone scemes a lot but the blue one looks very difficult to pull off. I would go with the red and black type. But I am actually putting up CF SS Style hood for sale soon because I sold my SS/SCD 4 a new GTO PM cause the price will be very reasonable. I also have a bunch of other parts that will be in the classifieds section soon.

 

I wanna see what px7's idea would look like with a sunburst orange. I have a sunburst orange ls and have been working on a black and orange theme and i think that idea would take my theme 1 step furture. Think you could photoshop that for me px7?
