I think underglow is pretty cool when used tastefully. Rice is more cheap hack job mods, or way overdoing it mods. IMO

i put red on mine and it looks really good. my opinion. if you like them. put them on. it dont matter what other peopld think. i've had people come up to me and tell me my car looks mean as hell with the lights on. go for it dude.

Under glow on a cobalt is not ricey because older muscle cars used to have it also they just bring out the apperance of your ride

i think it all depends on the car, an 89 honda accord, ya that would look ricey, but it def suits our cars, suits any sport compact as long as it is done right!

Most street cars they look like rice. But if you install them correctly then they can be very attractive. I was with my friend and we were in his car (honda accord blah) and we went through a wendys drive through at night and a mustang was going through it backwards with only one neon tube on each side of the car and they were very dull and you could see the tube just sticking out. Looked like ****. And the guy was hanging out the window like he was so cool. I wanted to go over and punch him. But w/e.

If I were to choose between doing interior or exterior neons, Id definatly choose interior.

99% of the people I know that have had underglow on their car:

a. got made fun of
b. had their cars keyed
c. got made fun of some more

i wouldnt go neons but leds look good though.. as long as you dont over do it and put to many on your car.. and dont put some color on it that dont match or dont make a good color sceme...
