In order to have a swtich you just have to put that in the circuit w/ the underglow lights. like instead of having the power go directly to the lights when the car is turned on have the power go to a switch first then ground that then have that power to the underglow.

their are surprisingly a lot of smart people on this forum . so im sure somebody who as already done it can help ya in great detail. or mkurly would prolly help you out since he seems to know his ****. later man

Ya what was said above, just wire the switch between the power source and the underglow itsself. u will prolly have to drill in the interior to mount the switch though. My friend did it with his old probe, it will work. Too bad it got hit by an F-350 lol

Don't mean to jack the topic, but what color is your cobalt? Mine's red, and I can't decide on a good underglow color. What'd you choose? Any suggestions?

I am pretty sure those "Kewl" lights come with a switch.

They are illegal for a reason so I would take that into consideration before you purchase them.

Installing a switch is like falling off a log. If you really dont know it's rather simple.
Install the neon.

Connect the black wire to the car
Connect the red wire to the switch and connect another red wire from the other side of the switch to the battery.

thats not a good reason. if people are that easily distracted they shouldn't be aloud to drive. if it came down to just distractions we wouldn't be able to have neon signs or anything like it on billboards and ****.

It's not like they are super bright either. They are making a glow under your car, they aren't aimed at onconming traffic

ya but the point is that the red, yellow and green underglow especially can confuse the stupider drivers and cause them to wreck. I also think its stupid, but hey the laws the law

UnderGlow only looks good when done RIGHT.

Don't buy a cheap ass kit and DON'T Skimp on the install.

Take a saturday and Get it right with proper mounting and hiding of the tubes.

Only then will it look good and not like a ricer.

I'm not saying underslow is rice. I'm just saying when it's done badly it looks horrible.
