what kind of paint are yall using? I originally wanted mine powdercoated but i dont want to bake my supercharger at 400 degrees! lol

caliper paint maybe? i know they make spray paint that is good for up to 2000 degrees F

Alright how many cans did you guys use so I know how many to buy.... also what are all tools needed to remove the blower

some one get picts of the red one. i think red would look ***** out bad ass. the OP that did his red just did it in a very bad way.

Ya I've seen that red one. It looked like pure ****. Can anyone tell me how many cans you used and also what tools are needed to remove the supercharger

What I found was vht flat black. Its used for headers and **** too. I think ima go with that and maybe throw some flake into it idk yet

Mine wasn't rattle can paint, I used a spray gun... it's the same paint I used to do my black wheels as well. It's about the only paint i've found that doesn't chip.

Believe it or not I used BBQ paint. A nice flat black and the paint was inexpensive and did not need primer. $5 CDN a can. And you only need one can.

As for removing the S/C.....check out this how to:

Thanks man. Ya my buddy insist I use primer but if no one else did then I don't see the need to

K finally decided. Going with flat black, blue ribs, and MAYBE try to get some flake on the black

As long as i dont wash my car it should not rain, i swear every single time i wash my car it rains like 20 min later...so i guess i will refrain from washin it til we are done

I primed the one I painted for the turbo conversion car. It was just a bare blower housing, no rotors in it, but it got painted gloss black after and it looked awesome.
