:::Updated interior and spoiler yet again... lol:::

ok so as of right now i had my SS SC spoiler on and it wasnt the same color yellow so f'n pukage

to this

so its about time that i got the color corrected and i have... but also i have been up to taking the LOOOONG route at finishing the doors... im not just sanding and painting them down... i am doing a lil more lengthy route

ok so i hated the grainy rough look that shows through when you just paint our door panels

so here we go.... im bringin in the BONDO! lol yes ladies n gets i want the smooth finish like the dash pieces! and no more nitty gritty...

im still workin on the first piece i just thought i would give a little teaser and i will def be workin my ass off to finish this by tomorrow night.. so total time spent will be under 12 hrs from removing door to reapplying door. i hope.

also i am going to do a 1/4" thick bowtie painted on so we will see how that ends up.

I have a friend (Cobalt) that did his whole interior, I don't think he used any bondo on the doors at all. Just started sanding the dimples off and put a few cotes of primer on and came out smooth.

idk its just hard to think that the door panels are not gonna **** up when he slams the doors and stuff like that..the center console would have been alittle better for this..he should have glassed it instead

LOL not trying to ruin it, I just knew of a better way to do it. I have another friend that tried to make his own door speakers and everything, got the bondo on and started to crack and come off because he didn't prep it correctly, but I think your doing pretty good.

shoulda just sanded it down, then added a few layers of primer.. my buddy robert works at a local chevy dealer... he did all his interior by cleaning it first, then adding a few layers of primer to smoothen it out... pure sex when it was finished. he has 10yrs experience in the field, painting, and working on cars in general.

good luck though, u got ur work cut out man. cnt wait to see the results

i'm thinking about sanding my interior down, and painting it all flat black with an eggshell clear, subscribed for the final product.

no mine is one of a kind in a stupid way... it was ordered a special edition with a stripe delete... meaning its the real kit.. just ordered without the stripes... well when i told them i wanted yellow with black stripes 5spd and all ebony interior no tan... there was only one left in the states... so the dealer bought it and delivered her to me...and it didnt have the stripes... so the dealer flew in a guy to laser up a grid on the car to mock the stripes and he put them on did great... i get there and he is like well we figured you would want to be different so we left the bowtie on the back... at first i was mad cause u know it comes debadged as part of the package... but whatever i dont mind it so much now... and there she be...
