nope not polished, or coated, its chrome
i purchased a valve cover from gm for $100 brand new in the box came with a new gasket, sent it to get chrome, took a couple of weeks, but the results are permanent
now i am into looking into finish off under the hood, what i would like is to find a staineless badge for the top of the valve cover (2.2 ecotec) that would be sweet, i plan to get the coil cover painted orange

Aww man! Well I'm disappointed! I thought I was gonna see bullet holes on your valve cover! Shucks :snapsfingers:
It does look good tho
is that a filter of some sort above the oil cap?
