Valve cover complete.. FINALLY

Well after about 3 weeks of working on and off, on this thing. I have finally completed it. Not the way I wanted it initially but its better in my opinion.. The first plan was to completely polish the valve cover.. then it got to the point where some parts were just to much of a pain in the ass to get to for it to look good at the end.. So I ended up painting a bunch of it this weekend..

Here is the steps I went in.. before and after pics..

yea ive gotta do the top piece yet..

im gunna leave the fins on the coil cover polished, and paint the rest of it black..

duplicolor high heat gloss black, and duplicolor high heat clear coat... (good to 500 F.

I just taped off the polished part, and painted everything black, then took the tape off nd clear coated the whole hting.. worked good

Looks good. I got one of the powdercoated ones from Modern Performance in wrinkle red. So I have a question before I tear this apart, what are the bolts torqued to when reinstalling it?
