God do I want mine done.. Powder-coating..?

Red would go well with your calipers.. Make it something that'll pop. Not black..

Can you do this with a simple can of spray paint (obviously after large amounts of cleaning/degreasing/sanding) or should you really powder coat it?

Same color as car, Silver, paint the center section (sparkplug area) and polish the rest, polish instead of paint......

I would definately do the ECOTEC and stuff in silver still like that..

I've seen lots of different colors on covers.. You'd be surprised at what looks good..

That K&N intake is nice.. I like how it has that plastic surround..

How long should you wait before you put it back on your car and run it if you do it yourself?

I can't believe I never noticed ENGINE PAINT at the parts store.. lol

I saw a Civic one in metallic gold with black lettering. Looked clean. Alot of them do bright colors if they go aftermarket, but some are very nice.. My friend did the inside of his engine bay in the Burberry pattern.. haha That'd be a sick valve cover..

x2 on the wrinkle red.. Exactly what I was thinking.. Just spray the whole thing down, then after it's all dried, take a high grit paper and sand the areas that say ECOTEC and the VVT, and the stripes.. Then those would be silver. I know it'd look like a Honda cover, but that looks super clean!

Sorry.. I'm a Honda head too.. Here's a few ideas..
