Vinyl Wrapping
Vinyl Wrapping
Hi Gents,
Long time since I've been on here lol.
I want to wrap my car in a matt white colour (yes a u in there :p ) but information and to some extent products are hard to come by in the UK unless you goto a very expensive trader (think $3000 to wrap a smart car!!!!!!!!).
I have watched a few videos on youtube that covers the basics but things like joins dont seem to be and what tools are best etc.
Anyone on here either do it for a living or a keen amature who can point me in the right direction?

Its not as easy as you think...
In essence you must wrap the entire car 2 times
Once with colour/graphic
and then a laminate.
then you will run into issues that a master wrapper can deal with easily, such as door handle and indention's and joining.

paint is equally stupidly expensive at the moment... plus I dont have a spray booth so cant do that job myself (I dont believe in paying people for anything other than materials lol)
Some info I got is that the colour (plain) can be used without the overlaminiate.
cool links, thanks
