Wang removal - what to do about holes?

I do not want any spoiler on mine. What kinds of things have you guys done about the holes left in the trunk lid? I thought about some black vinyl but the holes aren't exactly little holes. I can't afford to send it to a body shop to be filled in and repainted. I also posted in the parts section looking to swap with a base non-spolier coupe which would be ideal. Any other ideas for the holes that won't look like poop?

Yeah no. Have you seen the holes? Rubber plugs would have to be awful funky.

No way holes can be plugged. They're definatley not normal. Trade the trunk or $320 bucks at a body shop. I paid the money to have my trunk filled in. Sold spoiler on Ebay to get 3/4 of the cost back!

So it was $320 filled, painted, and out the door? Did they weld or bondo? That's not too bad if they welded. I may just go that route. Black duct tape until the spoiler sells.

Enough arguing people.

The $320 included welding the trunk holes shut, smoothing, and repainting it to factory color/specs. I used gray vinyl sticker for my trunk until I got the car to the shop. Here are some better pictures.

I think it would look even better on a black ss/sc. That's the color I really wanted, but I couldn't get one in black, nevermind with the G85 package. Please post pictures when your done shaving the trunk!

I had trouble getting the black one without ordering it. It took them about a week to track one down with the exact options I wanted and then they had to go get it a few hundred miles away.

I'll definitely post pics. Hopefully I can find someone to trade.

95% around here that drive non-SS's are female.
I don't see anything on non-SS models that make it look maskulin, especially if you're removing wangs.

That 1stblu's opinion could be on the verge of factual.
