hey everyone im new here so if i say something stupid let it go for now lol but anyway im attempting to install the washer lights on my cobalt yea i know it sits a little under the hood but i still wanna put them on there, so this should be ez right? wrong lol the plastic piece that the washers sit on needs to come off but im not exactly sure hot it comes off i pulled 2 clips out they look kinda like a nail and a slot then it looked like it was loose so whe u pull up the wiper arms are in the way, so take them off,,, thats another problem once u remove the nut the arm still wont come off. what am i doing wrong if anyone can assist me with this install i would appreciate it

 

you know those washer lights are rice and played out right?

those probally wont fit in our cars there made for in the hood types our arent in the hood

 

RICE-a-roni! Please don't put those onto your Cobalt.

 

He didn't ask if they were rice or not he just asked for help. I personally never really looked at them but good luck with it and welcome to the site.

 

They won't fit on a Cobalt...as said before, the sprayers aren't attatched to the hood...they're tucked in with the windshield wipers.

I don't think they make any to fit there.

 

thanks those of u who are trying to help, does anyhone know how to take that piece off because it will be a tight fit but it does look as if they will sit on that pod the wipers and the piece under it is my problem im hearing theres a apecial tool needed to get the wipers off n stuff so if anyone has any suggestions it would help but if not then either 15 bucks down the drain lol or ill put em on another car or ill have it "professionally"? installed

 

push down on the elbow part of the wipper...(follow up the wiper from where you removed the nut and theres a joint there (aka elbow) and push down there and pull up at the bolt end)...should come right off....just be sure to put them back the way they came off or youll have crooked wipers, and u could do the euro wiper look...lmao...one wiper smack in the middle of your windsheild, would go with your wiper washers lights really good.
