I am getting my car tinted next week and I want to know what % to get. I was thinking 30 but dont want it to be too dark to get pulled over.
The place where I am getting it done will do any % then final on the top of the rear window where they can't put tint in the inside and all the windows. going to cost 200.

any suggestions?? also I live in PA if that helps anyone

 

i would look at your state laws first...then you'll know what you could possibly get pulled over for...i have 25% on my side and 20% in the back but WA state law is at 35%....i havent gotten pulled over but some states are stricter than others. If anything, get your laws maximum then go the next down [ex: 35%->30%]

 

on my black ss s/c i have 5% on rear 3 and 35% on sides and 5% 6" tint strip on the front windshield

 

i have 35% on the side windows and 15% on the back three and i love how it looks

 

I dont know whether to get all the windows the same or go from light in the front to dark in the rear

 

20% all around

I just had tint done, i had 5% on the back windows, and 50% on the windshield/side windows. It turned out really really nice, and it almost looks like its stock. I no longer need to wear sunglasses while im driving. It looks hella good. If you go to much darker then 50% in my opinion your just asking for trouble, depending on where you live.

I have 5% all the way around... and 35 on the windshield.

 

My cars wrapped in 15% except for windshield. Not that bad to see through. Only problem is I had to pay an extra 50 bucks when it came around to inspection time.

 

thats what I got too and I love it. its not so dark that you can't see through it but it makes the car look nicer cus it has tinted windows.

 

Car got dropped of at the shop and I am getting 30% on the sides, 20% rear, 20% window strip.

 

Here is 30 on the front two windows and 10 on the back .... and a 5% sunstrip

 

for my ss/tc im going limo tints on the rear windsheild and rear tiny windows. slightly lighter on the 2 front with a limo black strip on the front windsheild
