I am ordering a 2006 Cobalt SS-SC, but I have been lamenting what color to get since I found out three weeks ago that I can't get Arrival Blue anymore. So I was going to get the new Laser Blue Metallic, but I've seen it in person and it looks way to purple (which I hate).

I would get silver, but thats not available for some retarded reason in Canada on the SS-SC. I like Black but it's way to hard to upkeep, and I think the Sunburst Orange looks to much like rust!

So I have decided that I want either Victory Red or Rally Yellow! Can't decide which though.

I have a red car now, so wanted blue (Arrival Blue that is). But the Victory Red is pretty nice. It's a corvette color too, and looks great on the Cobalt or Vette! I really like the rally yellow, but I'm afraid that it is too flashy and that it stands out too much. I'm really afraid I'll hate it after a month and ask myself what in the hell I was thinking. It may look dorky driving around in a Canadian winter for 5 months every year too! Plus I think people may despise it when it comes to selling it down the road. I'm also unsure of what the Grey G85 Recaro seats will look like in the Rally Yellow car! I know they look slick on Victory Red cars.

So anyone who has a Rally Yellow Cobalt, what is it like to drive, and what reaction do people have to it?

Any help would be appreciated on the color choice. All opinions welcome!

I like black, but its hard to keep clean, but waxed it looks like a million dollars.

 

Red, I was in your same position and I picked red, its a classic sports car color

 

stand out, go for the yellow

 

Arrival blue is hard to keep clean too -> dust + rain = bad

I would have liked to get silver too if it was an option.
