i am looking into HIDs and i dont know what color i should get

 

6000k ftw.. you get a lil bit of a blueish look when lookin at em but a very white output on the ground.. i would say thats the best ones..

ebay.. they was only 80 shipped.. and i honestly think they are just as good as the expensive kits..

 

I have 8k's from Vision.

 

The 6000k are better for vision then the 8000k.

 

That is probably true but honestly there is not that much of a difference between 6k and 8k. At least with Visions kits.

 

I had the 6k but I am no longer running HIDs. I would say 4300 or 6000 is the best hands down for lighting. Going any higher is a waste in my opinion.

 

i said 8000K i love mine........... BUT PUT THEM IN PROJECTORS DONT GO RICE AND PUT THEM IN STOCK HOUSINGS!

5000k in my foglights. soon to have matching 5000k in projector headlights. My buddy has a company that sells good kits cheap so i get an awesome hook-up.

 

10k, but I got a great deal on em cause they were just sitting at a friends shop, switching to 6k soon

 

I have 6000ks in now and they're not bad.
I'm selling my 10000k HID kit though if anyone wants it. They look great.

6000k is good for the headlight, looks and a still white, good lumen output
4300k is good for the fogs, white and best lumen output
I would go 4300k for both if your in the country for optimal light. In the city I would go 6000k, for looks and good output
and no i dont have HID'd yet, just the research that I have done

 

Im thinking about getting a Vision 6000K kit in then near future.

As far as the color... it looks like I'm the only one with 4300K...
I love my sleeper look.... pure white goodness!

 

6k look the best IMO and aren't too blue. Anyone have 4300k HIDS? Do they have any blue tint to them? pretty sure they will be white.

Mine is actually a Phillips 5200 D2S bulb.... so i voted 6000k

 

Do not have them waiting for my kit to come in the mail but I got 6000k HID. My vision is not the best so it's the best choice for me and went with 6000k over 4300k cuz I like the sexy blue tint but still nice and bright.

 

uhhh. I still want to know if its pure white or does it have a small blue tint to it. I guess i will have to see in person.
